Become A Roadie For RÜFÜS With Red Bull And Big Day Out 2014

The sun shines. Live music pours pleasingly into your ear drums. Hooked on your right arm is your best friend. To your left are the members of your favourite band, meeting you with a friendly smile. Together you laugh, joke and enjoy the performance atmosphere. You are their trusty roadie. Sound like a familiar dream to you?

Well, that dream could become a reality with Australian album chart-topping, Indie-Dance boys RÜFÜS.

Thanks to ‘Red Bull Roadie’ they’re offering you the chance to win an opportunity to join the fun-loving, nice-as-pie, Aussie lads upon a national tour with Big Day Out.

From Auckland to Melbourne, plus two dates in the capital, you could accompany RÜFÜS at an opening music festival presenting a smashing line up. Offering a variety of acts, such as Arcade Fire, Snoop Dog, Pearl Jam and Major Lazer, you could be in for the experience free of charge.

Treated like a V.I.P, travel and accommodation for each date will be provided. Not only that, but your adventure with the famous will be snapped and recorded by Stoney Roads music blog.

How do you enter, we hear you ask? It’s simple. You must create and upload a video to Instagram explaining why you should be selected. In order for your entry to be considered, just remember to mention @redbullAU and @rufussounds also hashtagging ‘#redbullroadie’.

Entries must be 15 seconds or under and applicants must be free to tour January 19th – February 2nd 2014. Applicants must also be 18 plus, of Australian residency, and have a driver’s license.

If you are found to be remarkable enough to make the list of top ten entrants, be prepared for the Red Bull Roadie Challenge at Sydney’s Red Bull HQ. Here you are to face your opponents head-to-head with a series of amusing hypothetical ordeals you may encounter on the road.

The final winner shall be crowned and awarded their fantasy by RÜFÜS themselves. Runners up however do not leave empty handed. Efforts are rewarded with a free double pass to The Big Day Out at a date nearest to your home.

So don’t hang about! Entries are NOW OPEN and you have until December 9th 2013 to deliver a video to crush the competition.
