Jurassic Lounge: Extinction
Jurassic Lounge organisers have announced that the next season will be its last, so make the most of it while you can! Every Tuesday night, running from September to November, Jurassic Lounge take over the Australian Museum, hosting 10 ‘outrageous end-of-the-world parties’. Expect drinks, live music, stand-up comedy, DJs, burlesque performers, science experiments, and much, much more. Tickets are $16 on the door or online.

Sydney Fringe 2013
New South Wales’ largest alternative arts festival is back again, providing a feast of visual and performing arts events. The all-encompassing Sydney Fringe will feature genres such as stand-up comedy, music, theatre, burlesque, film, circus/physical theatre and poetry, so there’s definitely something to suit all tastes!

FBi Turns 10!
One of Sydney’s leading community radio stations FBi Radio has recently turned the grand old age of 10, so to celebrate hitting double digits, they’ve lined up 35 acts across four stages for a day of festivities. With the birthday bash being held at Carriageworks, the incredible line-up includes ARIA Award-winning Dance music legends The Presets, as well as an array of the best Australian DJs and live acts. Also doubling up as a fundraiser, proceeds will go towards ensuring another 10 more years of FBi Radio.

Efterski Festival

Indie Gems Film Festival
Indie Gems Film Festival is a celebration of local and international independent cinema with an emphasis on humanity and humanitarian issues. OutsideIn Festival 2013
OutsideIn aims to capture the energy and scope of an outdoor Electronic Dance Music (EDM) festival and reproduce it inside, and this year, they’ve raised the bar yet again with a massive line-up, many of whom have never toured Australia before. Headlining are Zomby, a bass enigma from the UK, and Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs, two acts that will undoubtedly blow the roof clean off the main stage.
