La Brasserie
For all their faults the French do know how to cook a good piece of steak, so for a true Parisian experience in the heart of Sydney get down to Darlinghurst’s La Brasserie. Gaucho Grill is located on Stanley Street in Darlinghurst and is for the serious meatheads among you. The restaurant offers traditional Argentinian favourites with all steak coming from Australian grain fed cows and aged for six weeks before cooking. If you fancy reasonably priced steaks ranging from T-Bone at $20 or a rump steak at just $16, then head on down to The Porterhouse.
