Book Slam Feast – 20th April 2013
London’s most famous book club, Book Slam is anticipating British Summer Time with their very first foray into fine dining on 20th April with a literary twist with Will Self, Andrew Maxwell, The Basement Orchestra, Adam Riches and Piff the Magic Dragon, guests will enojy Fine Dining from Hoxton Food Hall and Fine Wining from City Beverage.
In a departure from normal operations, they’re planning a one-off extravaganza that finally aligns all our favourite things – a beautiful venue, the best literature, cutting edge comedy, fine wining and dining, extraordinary live music and a magician dressed up as a dragon. Greeted by something small, fruity and Italian (no, not Silvio) on arrival at the stunning Round Chapel, sit down to a three course meal we can only describe as a feast served up by the legendary epicureans of the Hoxton Food Hall. Over dessert, Andrew Maxwell will play ringmaster to an eclectic line-up including the doyen of contemporary fiction, Will Self, the 35-piece Basement Orchestra and the unfailingly hilarious magical/ draconinestylings of Piff The Magic Dragon.
