Brad Robson Exhibition At Platform72
Fresh from a month’s art residence in New York, Sydney’s BRAD ROBSON will host his first stand-alone exhibition at the new concept gallery PLATFORM72.
Curating a bespoke window installation – Brad will play homage to New York City. Standing tall in arguably Sydney’s busiest hub it’ll give Oxford Street a slice of NYC’s skyline. Brad exhibits a combination of abstract, art prints and the more contemporary art medium – skate decks.
Ahead of his group exhibition in London, later this year, more recently Brad’s artwork featured at Cockatoo Island’s Outpost exhibition ‘Paste Modernism’, the hipster-cool Jurassic Lounge (Australian Museum), he’s decorated the walls at Erskinville’s Hive bar, SBS studios, and created a one-of-a-kind mural in New York, as part of his residency.
“The City of Sydney has given artists a unique opportunity – a new lease of life in the metropolitan area – by increasing the number of affordable creative spaces, in and around the city. I am thrilled to be one of the first artists to exhibit through this initiative,” said Brad Robson.
