British and Irish Lions Tour 2013 Live @ the Barmy Army HQ: Ryan’s Paragon Hotel

If history’s anything to go by, the British contingent will be out in full force at Ryan’s Paragon Hotel during the Lions Tour 2013.

Ryan’s Paragon Hotel is the Official Barmy Army HQ in Sydney, with fans of just about every sport taking advantage of the late opening hours to watch live games and celebrate wins…or dissect losses. During the last Ashes Tour, the Barmy Army settled in for the duration, bringing their special form of ‘barmy charm’ to the Quay.

This year, Lions fans will be treated to the same Sydney hospitality over two levels and the beer garden, with the crowd doubtless spilling over into the Jesse Street gardens where in 2011 broadcasts of the Ashes revelry were beamed back to Blighty and around the globe.

For the Lions Tour 2013, the Paragon will be showing every match live and very loud, with hearty man-food and cold beers flowing to help keep up everyone’s strength.

So for sports fans, British, Irish and Aussie alike, Ryan’s Paragon Hotel promises to be the venue for the Lions Tour!
