Kimberley Tours from Broome, Western Australia
Touring extensively through Western Australia, Kimberley Wild’s 5 day tour setting off from Broome to The Bungle Bungles will leave you awe-inspired by the epic views you’ll take in along the way.
This five day tour of Western Australia’s outback will see you spotting crocodiles, other worldly rock formations and heading underground into secret caves.

Fitzroy Crossing
Transported in a luxury 4WD coach from Broome, it’s first off to the Fitzroy Crossing, a vast floodplain area where the Mangkaja Aboriginal Arts Centre is worth a visit to gain more of an insight into the area’s Aboriginal culture. It’s here that you’ll explore the Geikei Gorge with its huge towering cliffs. There’s an abundance of wildlife here including crocodiles and lots of fish so be sure to keep your eyes peeled! Come the evening it’s back to camp for a BBQ – Kimberly style!
The Bungle Bungles
Your next stop is The Bungle Bungles. Formed over 20 million years ago by rivers which were much higher than they are now, carving out their iconic orange and black stripes; the beehives, as they’re sometimes known as, were only discovered in the 1980’s and as such, are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There’s also the chance to enjoy an optional flight over the Bungle Bungles (an extra $350pp) to get a bird’s eye view of the range.

Mimbi Caves
Next up are the Mimbi Caves, where it is thought that some of the earliest human inhabitants of Australia lived. With these being some of the largest caves in Western Australia there’s a lot to see and a lot of room to move around in, so don’t worry about having to squeeze through tight, dark spaces. They are well lit with vivid colours coming off the incredible pristine rock formations and underground pools; you’ll be hard pushed to believe they were formed over 350 million years ago!
Tunnel Creek
The final day of the tour takes you to Tunnel Creek where more hidden caves and wildlife awaits. Once you’ve had just about enough caving, the tranquil oasis of Windjana Gorge is an awesome place to chill out in before the trip back to Broome through the Napier Ranges where the tour concludes.
