80s Chart Toppers Bros Announce UK Tour

Bros’ reunion gets even more exciting, as they are set to embark upon a string of nationwide dates.

Eighties girls across the country rejoiced as teen idols Matt and Luke Goss, of the pop band Bros, announced their much anticipated return after a twenty four year hiatus, as well as a massive show in London next summer.

Bros – the biggest reunion in pop

The news, which is being hailed as the ‘biggest reunion in pop,’ came earlier this week when the ‘When Will I Be Famous’ singers confirmed the rumours at a London press conference hosted by presenter Emma Willis.

Their O2 show, which is due to take place on 19th August 2017 – the very day the group played their last ever show at Wembley Stadium in 1989, went on sale this morning, but reportedly sold out in a mere seven seconds. Due to the demand, a second show has now been added this morning and is selling fast too.

Bros extend one off show to a full UK tour

On the back of the band’s huge popularity, a further five UK dates have also been added, following the initial London reunion concerts. The tour, which will see the twins playing together for the first time in twenty four years, will have them heading to Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Newcastle and Glasgow; so the rest of their loyal fan base across the country can also get the chance to see the brothers back in action.

Bros tour press shot

Watch the news unravel here with the latest behind the scenes video from Bros’ reunion:

Originally a trio, Matt (vocals) and Luke (drums) have additionally said that original member Craig Logan, who left the group in early 1989, would be very welcome should he be interested in joining the reunion back on bass. Fans would clearly be thrilled, but whether it will happen or not is another story. Craig went to become a success in his own right as an artist manager, working with the likes of Pink, Anastacia, Dido, Cher Lloyd and more.

Could the Spice Girls be joining the boys?

Moreover, the duo told fans that they would love the Spice Girls to support them at their forthcoming shows. Though the girl band, who are currently a trio – featuring Emma Bunton, Mel B and Geri Halliwell – are yet to confirm whether they will be joining the boys next year or not. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed!
