CHASE & STATUS Release New Track ‘NRG’ Featuring Novelist

Chase and Status are back with ‘NRG’ is the second cut to be lifted from CHASE & STATUS’ forthcoming fourth studio album, due for release later this year. It features rising MC Novelist and follows ‘Control’ (featuring Slaves) which continues to dominate radio airwaves.

Ahead of their forthcoming album release CHASE & STATUS are confirmed for Radio 1 Big Weekend on the 28th May and will be headlining a number of festivals including Wireless (on the 9th July) and Sundown Festival (on the 3rd September). This summer will also see them return to Ibiza for their annual residency at Amnesia, which kicks off on the 7th June.

Dubbed “London’s Hottest New Hip Hop hope”, Lewisham based and XL Recordings signed MC Novelist (aka Kojo Kankam) has been earmarked as one of the brightest stars among a new generation of Grime artists breaking through.
