Chew Lips To Release New Single In September

Chew Lips will release the first single, ‘Hurricane, from their second album on 3rd September, through the bands own label Family Records.

‘Hurricane’ will follow free download track ‘Do You Chew?’ released last month. Opening with teasing electro beats, it launches into a soaring chorus of dirty yet sweet vocals that you can’t get out of your head.

Chew Lips consist of vocalist and frontwoman Tigs and multi-instrumentalist James Watkins. The band formed in 2009 after the pair had been in indie bands, but then had the desire to form something new and exciting.

The band are currently putting the finishing touches to their second, as yet untitled album, which was produced by Ant Whiting and will be released early next year.

The band have been touring the UK throughout June and July performing at the likes of Lovebox and packing out headline shows across the country.
