Artereal Gallery Presents Collaborateurs – July 3rd 2013

Collaborateurs is a nine day series of nine exhibitions beginning with David Capra’s Wizard of Oz Intercession series of ceramic sculptures. Sylvia Schwenk presents A shared space recording a chance crossing of two grave diggers. Dance is an intrinsic part to several of the exhibitions in addition to an attempt by artistic duo Tully Arnot & Charles Dennington to create ‘Hoverchairs’ from instructions found on the internet. From sculptural collage to seductive burlesque dancing, expect something wildly differe3nt everynight.

Founded in March 2006, Artereal Gallery is housed in a restored 1890s fire station in Sydney’s inner west. Encouraging variety, Artereal Gallery aims to promote a greater appreciation for the vital role that artists play in our community, both locally and further abroad. Both light and spacious, moveable walls in addition to high ceilings create a flexible gallery capable of holding one, two or three shows together.
