Collaboration With Psy Proves Snoop Dogg’s Gone Mad

In case you hadn’t noticed, Snoop Dogg (or Lion – we keep forgetting) has made some odd choices of late that don’t stop at being banned from several countries for carrying copious amounts of weed. From a TV advert for insurance to his latest venture with everyone’s favourite South Korean singer, Psy, on ‘Hangover’, we count down the five warning signs that might just prove that Snoop Dogg has officially cracked and gone completely bonkers.

Snoop Dogg Advertises Money Supermarket

For some reason or another (but most likely the pay packet), Snoop Doggy Dogg thought it would be a good idea to partake in one of those annoying insurance comparison sites. If that wasn’t random enough, there’s a pasty white nerd driving an invisible car that actually makes the Hip Hop star’s presence less weird. We hear his next starring role is for a dog food commercial alongside Lady Gaga.

Snoop Dogg Changes His Name To Snoop Lion

We’re not sure whether the name change was to symbolise his maturity (although a “dogg” doesn’t grow to a lion, but whatever), but Snoop Dogg became Snoop Lion back in July 2012. He later claimed that he was rechristened Snoop Lion by a Rastafarian priest in Jamaica, which explains everything…

Snoop Dogg Banned From Another Country

You can’t say he’s not consistent, because Snoop isn’t satisfied with being banned from just one country. Over the course of his career, this dawg (sorry) has been refused entry into Norway in June 2012 for carrying eight grams of marijuana; the UK in April 2006 for causing havoc and vandalism at Heathrow Airport (which was only lifted in 2010); Australia in 2007 for just being Snoop Dogg; and the Netherlands in 2010 for not being “friendly” enough to play at their festival. He was even banned from a California high school in 2011 for smoking weed during a video shoot.

Snoop Dogg Gets High With Seth Rogen On His Web Show

Not content with just everyone in the world knowing he smokes weed, back in May, Snoop invited skunk-loving pal, Seth Rogen, onto his web show where they got high and started talking about Game Of Thrones. Stating, “I fuck with the Game Of Thrones, that’s my shit,” Snoop laughed with Rogen as they swapped notes on the previous episode. We’re not sure smoking weed on the internet is legal or not, but he doesn’t seem to care, so why should we?

Snoop Dogg Collaborates With Psy On ‘Hangover’

In his most recent bizarre decision, Snoop Dogg has paired up with South Korean singer, Psy, famous for those marvellous tracks, ‘Gangnam Style’ and ‘Gentleman’, for ‘Hangover’. The track in question is a bit of a headache – and that’s putting it lightly. It’s not going to win a Grammy Award any time soon, but the video makes for five minutes of entertainment. It begins with Psy vomiting into a toilet and then Snoop appears in the bathtub. There are lots of twerking, leather-clad dancers and the two artists down too many shots to count.
