Darwin Deez Is Back With Kill Your Attitude

Making the first waves about his long anticipated new album back in May, Darwin Deez now accompanies the lead single from his upcoming album ‘Double Down’ with a new Battlefield 4 inspired video for ‘Kill Your Attitude’.

Taking the ‘kill’ element quite literally, the 3 minute video depicts the noodle-haired indie starlet’s relationship with his partner (represented a computer generated avatar) as an actual battlefield, when Deez’s minor discrepancies such as stealing the duvet during the night to leaving the dirty dishes on the kitchen side acting as a catalyst for the domestic warfare with Deez serving as focal point of the first-person shooter.

Teaming up with acclaimed director Dent De Cuir, the subject matter of the track could take a turn towards the dispirited and downbeat nature of tumultuous relationships, but staying true to his shiny, bubblegum indie-pop roots, his ability to turn any motif into a chirpy pop hook is unwavering.

Speaking about the follow up to his celebrated second album ‘Songs For Imaginative People’ Deez himself proclaimed that his goal was to “to re-make anew what has always appealed to me and to share that with everyone, but with enough of a twist that it feels completely fresh” hinting that we can expect more of his trademark pep and panache with what is earmarked as his most superlative album to date.

‘Double Down’ is due for release on Friday 18th September on Pod Through Inertia.
