DC Breaks Announce Australia Tour
Two of the biggest drum n bass acts in the world at the moment will come together over three weekends for a mammoth tour of Australia and New Zealand.
After over a year since their last visit, DC Breaks has announced their return Down Under later this month. Hailing from the UK, they were propelled onto the global stage with their Halo EP in 2010. Following releases on labels such as Andy C’s Ram Records, Frequency Recordings and Viper Recordings, they’ve continued to impress their fans, including Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Mista Jam.
Joining them will be up-and-coming drum n bass star and fellow Ram Recordings signee, Frankee. While he may seem like a new face to some, Frankee has already laid down the foundations for what has already begun to be an undoubtedly impressive career. Handpicked to play his tracks to Andy C at his Ram HQ, he went on to be awarded the “Best Breakthrough Producer” at the Drum n Bass Awards in 2014.
There is no doubt that this will be the biggest drum n bass tour to hit Australia and New Zealand in 2016. DC Breaks and Frankee will kick off in Wellington and Christchurch on 26th and 27th of February before playing at Auckland’s Cassette Nine and Dunedin’s Suburbia. Moving the Australia, the two acts will head to Sydney’s best underground club on Kings Cross, Candy’s Apartment, on the 4th, followed by Biscuit Factory in Brisbane. For their final weekend, they’ll hit up HQ Complex in Adelaide, Villa in Perth and Platform One in Melbourne for Labour Day Eve.
