Debut EP From Osca, Blood

Up and coming band Osca announce their debut Blood EP, featuring a brand new upload ‘Around The Bends’.

There’s something a little Coldplay about the trio, but it’s definitely more upbeat than Chris Martin’s recent plummet into depression. With previous tracks ‘Blood’ and ‘Illume’ the EP presents a good feel for the capabilities of the band.

The band first began releasing material through Duly Noted Records (The Night VI, Black Honey, Paperwhite) back in July when they unveiled the studio version of Blood. This garnered many tastemaker blog plaudits as well as Zane Lowe’s stamp of approval as a Next Hype Record. “I started writing this song well over a year ago. It came to me very quickly” explains singer & writer Jack Kenworthy, continuing “Which is probably why the melody never settles and feels quite improvised. The song really came to life when we started working on it in the studio with our producer Mikko Gordon. He definitely brought it into a new light.”

The Blood EP will be available digitally from November 17, 2014 via Duly Noted Records.
