DJ Marky Remixes Brazilian Soul Classic

Drum ‘n’ bass genius, DJ Marky, has released a re-working of a classic Brazilian soul record. A favourite of his as a child, DJ Marky has re-contextualised Marco Valle’s ‘Freio Aerodinâmico’ with a modern take on the classic which include rolling percussion and samba rhythms.

This isn’t the first time that DJ Marky has re-worked a classic, with a recent release of Djavan’s Brazilian anthem ‘Nereci’, which took a down-tempo, funk-laden take on the original.

DJ Marky re-works are creating a fresh, modern take on Brazil’s rich musical heritage.
