
Falls Festival 2015
Falls Festival is a multi-day music event kicking off at the end of December 2015 and is the ultimate New Year’s Eve party to attend. Locations include Lorne in Victoria, Marion Bay in Tasmania and Byron Bay in New South Wales, with each site held on a pristine patch of land surrounded by lush trees, nature and most importantly, beach proximity.
Bringing you an array of international music talent and arts/culture installations, interaction is a must at Falls. Housing the best tunes from around the globe, enjoy bands that make you dance, art that gets you involved, all with friends that make you laugh. Seeing the New Year in is about creating those special moments with your nearest and dearest, and there is no better place then Falls Festival to gain those summer memories.
At Falls, listen to contemporary tunes from around the globe and join in with Boogie Nights, Falls Fiesta and visit The Village to explore the weird and wonderful performing arts. Relax with yoga, move to the samba, learn circus tricks or simply enjoy some top stand up comedy, the possibilities are endless. With workshops in all areas from burlesque to puppetry, you will certainly not be bored for a second.
Gastronomic food will be widely available, with an arrange of worldwide delicacies for you to taste, ensuring a true, authentic cultural experience. If you simply want proper Aussie grub, then don’t worry as food stalls will cater for all. Not forgetting the drinks available, plenty of bars scattered around will offer a selection of beverages sure to quench your thirst.
The all-important line-up this year features artists including Bloc Party, Disclosure, Fleetwood Mac, Foals, Young Fathers, and The Maccabees. With plenty more already booked and more artists to be confirmed, Fall Festival-goers are set for a treat.
