Now Friend Within is releasing music on the likes of PETS and the Disclosure’s Method Records, even scoring the official support slot for Disclosure on their UK tour. Known for his signature 808s and fat bass, Friend Within has lent his sound to remixes of John Legend, London Grammar, Sub Focus and Bondax. With his recent BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, it looks like things are on the up and up for Friend Within and it can’t hurt to be friends with him when he’s down here.
