JAGMAC Are The New Kids On The Block

Let’s welcome the new kids on the block who are destined for global success! JAGMAC are – Jared, Angelique, Gabriel, Manjo, Alyssa, and CJ. Four brothers and two sisters aged between 14-24, some critics say they are the next Black Eyed Peas or Jackson Five.

Prepare to be amazed, this family are pretty unique as well as being extremely talented and versatile in many areas, including: singing, dancing, choreography, song writing, rapping, piano, guitar, drums, sign language, and martial arts. Every member of the group holds a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. They’re also world champions in Philippine martial art, Eskrima (stick fighting). Could they be any more amazing?

JAGMAC have devoted their time and helped raise thousands of dollars for various humanitarian causes including victims of the earthquake in Haiti and typhoon Halayan in the Philippines, where they toured in January 2012 performing at various venues which culminated in a live performance for 12,000 at the annual Sinulog Festival in Cebu.

The guys and gals, who hail from Baltimore, Maryland, have been busy writing and recording songs, during their trip to LA they were luckily introduced to multi-platinum writer and producer Bryan Todd, who has worked with artist’s such as Jordin Sparks, Miley Cyrus, Ruben Studdard, Ashley Tisdale and many other successful artists. Bryan was so impressed that he decided to invite Manny Streetz from KISS FM (LA’s biggest Radio station) to the studio to meet the group which resulted in Manny joining them in the writing session and a great song was born, “Feelin Alive!”. They have gone on to further writing with Lauren Christy (formerly “The Matrix”) the very talented award winning songwriter whose credits include Avril Lavigne, Jason Mraz, Shakira, Liz Phair, Korn, Twisted Transition, David Bowie, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, Rihanna and Busted.

The group set off in January for their tour in the Philippines, as a tribute to their Filipino roots. It’s not long till their UK release for their upcoming album which is set for April, the first half of 2015 is going to be a busy one for JAGMAC, having just completed a national UK schools tour. It’s an exciting prospect to see where this group will be by the end of 2015.
