July At The World BarAt The World Bar, Sydney, there’s always something going on, 7-days a week. Considered the home of Sydney’s most diverse nights and famous for their Teapots The World Bar is a must stop for any party goer, and they don’t stop till the sun comes up most nights so get your kick-on crew together and smash out a night you won’t be forgetting in a hurry.

Here’s what’s happening this week at The World Bar:

Monday July 9: Jazz
From 7pm til 10:30pm, followed by DJs til late – Free.

Grab a glass of red and settle into a chesterfield by the open fire for a night of open mic Jazz. The house band can turn their hand to any tune and our helpful host can aid you with the perfect song choice. So whether you are a seasoned song bird or just a jazz fanatic first timer, The World Bar welcomes you with open arms and jazz hands.

Tuesday, July 10: Jam
From 8pm and prizes each week – Free.

Quiz Master Ali gets the brain matter going with his Speed quizzing questions from 9pm. The glory, the power and a stack load of prizes await the winner. Karaoke Steve takes over from 10.30pm and the singing cracks on into the early hours.

Wednesday, July 11: The Wall
from 9pm – $5

The Wall is without a doubt the Biggest mid week partying hotspot in Sydney. A weekly dose of dub step delight, with an army of resident DJs and regular international guests. The night runs across 4 rooms over 3 levels and get in early to avoid the queues. Arrive in pairs between 9pm and 10pm for a free teapot and get your name on the Facebook event wall for free entry before 11pm.

Thursday, July 12: Propaganda
From 9pm – free with student ID or $5

No gimmicks, no fads, no One Direction here, just some sweet, sweet rock ‘n’ roll all night long. Propaganda belts out the classic guitar tunes along with some modern indie bands and at least 3 bands that you have never even heard of, they’re just that cool.

Friday, July 13: Mum
from 9pm – $15 after 10pm, $10 before 10pm or free entry with student ID before 10pm.

Ah, Thank God It’s Friday. Get your glad rags on for another night of live music, beers and chili dawgs thanks to Mum. The night kicks off at 9pm and the first bands are on from 10.30pm, going right through to the early hours with DJs galore. $5 beers, $5 tequilas & $5 sangria all night.

Saturday, July 14: Cakes
From 8pm – $15 or $20 after 10pm

Everyone loves Cake, right? What’s not to love, with 6 rooms over 3 levels, a huge open air terrace, a plethora of DJs and, of course, teapots, there is something for everyone. Cakes kicks off at 8pm and goes through to the wee small hours, so come have your cake, and eat it too.

Sunday, July 15: Dust
From 9pm – Free

Diggin’ through the deep side of House, James Taylor, Alley Oop and friends provide the perfect soundtrack to sooth the soul on a Sunday night. Kickin’ off at 9pm and rockin’ till the sun comes up, Dust is the perfect destination for lovers of good music. Dust welcomes John Devechies as the special guest.
