Kirin J Callinan @ Northcote Social Club – Saturday 15th Septebmer

Northcote Social Club always knows how to show everyone a good time. On Saturday 15th September Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club will be opening its doors to Kirin J Callinan.

Kirin J Callinan is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and solo performer known for his confronting live performances, haunting compositions, wild guitar playing, a charming presence and charismatic, if a little creepy, on-stage banter. He has worked with the likes of Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders, Lost Animal, Craig Nichols (The Vines), Jonti, Lost Valentinos, The Midnight Juggernauts and more, and has scored a number of independent films. He’s toured or performed with a diverse selection of the world’s finest artists and bands, such as Rowland S. Howard, Neu!, The Dirty Three, The Pixies, HTRK, Beck, Roky Erickson, Jon Spencer and so many more. Called “Australia’s own Robert Fripp” by The Vine, Kirin’s latest video, ‘Way To War’, is undeniably memorable.
