KRS-One @ The Garage, Highbury
One of the loudest, most influential men in Hip-Hop, KRS-One will be performing at The Garage, Highbury, on Friday June 7th 2013 and Saturday June 8th 2013.
KRS, an acronym for Knowledge Reigning Supreme, has been at the centre of Hip-Hop’s developments and growth since the 1980’s after the release of his track ‘South Bronx’. In addition to his already influential status KRS-One has gone on to write books on Rap and Hip-Hop, lecture at over 500 universities and influenced the creation of the anti-gang song ‘We’re All In The Same Gang’ (1990).
To witness such an important figurehead to the origins of Hip-Hop in such an intimate venue is not to be missed by any fans of the genre.
