Live Review: Booka Shade and other guests – Neon Noise Project at Fire, London Seeing the name Booka Shade Live on the bill for a London club is enough to excite every kind of clubber. Live Review: Booka Shade and other guests – Neon Noise Project at Fire, London Fire in Vauxhall is a venue built for nights like this, it was overcrowded for the main performance of Booka Shade at 2.30am but then emptied out and was perfect for artists after.
Marc Romboy and Paul Woolford (replacing Lindstrom who was unable to perform due to illness) created a real buzz at the venue and the Berlin duo that is Booka Shade made sure that this one off show in London was an event to never forget. Playing a mix of both old classics and new material, they really did make their mark on the venue’s history of amazing acts performing there.
