Dates and Duration
This year’s event is happening from February 14th to March 2nd, 2025. On Saturday, March 1st, 2025, the world-famous Sydney Mardi Gras Parade will take place, marking the end of the two-week event.
Key Events During Mardi Gras Sydney 2025
1. Ultra Violet
The grounds of the National Art School will play host to Ultra Violet, an event exclusively for LGBTQIA+ women.
2. Mardi Gras Party
Out of all the LGBTQIA+ overnight parties in Australasia, the Mardi Gras Party is by far the biggest. In 2025, it has a stellar roster of artists and DJs.
3. A Pool Party in Paradiso
During Mardi Gras, you may also attend the Paradiso Pool Party in a popular city pool in Sydney.
4. Kaftana Pool Celebration
In 2025, the iconic campy vibe of the Kaftana Pool Party will be back at Ivy Pool.
5. Laugh Out Proud
The LGBTQ+ comedy showcase Laugh Out Proud will take place in Sydney’s Inner West on Friday, February 21st.
6. Sissy Ball
Seven Angels and Neesha will perform at the Sissy Ball, which is one of the biggest vogue balls in the Southern Hemisphere. A spectacular display of ballroom culture is on display at this event.
