Melbourne Comedy Guide
The Melbourne Comedy Festival is being held this year for just over three weeks, from Wednesday 27 March to Sunday 21 April. Hundreds of shows will be held during the festival, including the internationally renowned comedian Hannah Gadsby.
When the annual Melbourne Comedy Festival is held for the 32nd time in 2019, visitors can watch their favourite comedy films, fascinating novelties and new talents from Australia and abroad.
Other well-known names that were confirmed in 2019 are Dave Hughes, the crowd puller who presents his new show Hairy every night of the comedy festival except Fridays. After a successful act last year, Kitty Flanagan is also back with his five-star show, Smashing.
Social-media driven comics like Alex Williamson and Aaron Gocs will also be very present at the festival. If you like comedy and appreciate your money, visit one of the many comedy-themed events. If you are happy to raise money for a good cause, the annual gala on March 20 is an event that you should not miss.
