Melbourne International Jazz Festival, 30th May – 8th June 2014
Bringing musicians together from across all corners of the globe, Melbourne Jazz Festival is the eagerly awaited annual event that allows Jazz fans to enjoy some of the finest music in some of Melbourne’s most iconic spaces.
Originating in 1998, the festival has now been running for over 15 years – and it shows no signs of slowing down this year!
Allowing audiences to enjoy performances in clubs, recital halls and in the most unexpected venues across the city, the Jazz fest has already let slip that the Glenn Miller Orchestra will be opening up the festival on the 30th May, also joined by The Greek Project featuring Charles Lloyd and Maria Farantouri later on in the program.
Now that we’ve got your attention, it’ll be worth circling Wednesday 19th March on your calendar, as this is when the official full line-up for the 2014 festival will be announced.
