Mirrorball by Best Youth

Portuguese duo Best Youth release new single ‘Mirrorball’, the second single to be taken from the pair’s debut album ‘Highway Moon’.

Premiered over on Clash, the band’s new track inhabits the same creative space as the work of Chromatics or College or indeed any other Johnny Jewel project. The fantastically infectious hooks of vocalist Catarina Salinas charm and enchant, whilst the synthesizers of multi-instrumentalist Ed Rocha Gonçalves shimmer and glisten in this delectable slice of electro pop.

Some of you may even be familiar with the previous work of Best Youth, either from their Winterlies EP, their collaboration with the band We Trust in a project called There Must Be a Place, or from their work with Moullinex. If this is your first encounter with the band however, ‘Mirrorball’ really shouldn’t be your last.

Best Youth’s debut LP ‘Highway Moon’ is due for release 30th March.
