National Curry Week

If you’re a lover of curry then this week you will be well aware that it is the National Curry Week. Started on the 13th until the 19th October and you can thank Indigo the London pop up restaurant and the pop up mall BOXPARK SHOREDITCH as they have teamed up to produce this fantastic celebration of one of the nation’s favourite cuisines.

Over the weekend (17th and 18th October) the duo will be showcasing a collection food, music and entertainment from the Indian sub-continent.

Curry lovers around the UK will unite to celebrate National Curry Week (13th -19th October 2014) but there’s one London pop up that everyone’s talking about. Street food restaurant Indigo and pop-up mall BOXPARK SHOREDITCH have come together to bring a weekend (17th and 18th October) of great food, music and entertainment, showcasing the amazing sights, sounds and flavours from the Indian sub-continent.

For those making the great choice to visit will be able to enjoy the tasty street food delights produced by Indigo, with their famous chaat bites, amazing wraps and biriyanis. Don’t forget that while there will be more than enough of the delicious foods available, you’re other senses are in for a treat. With you’re street food in hand you can take a moment to absorb some of the culture as you listen to live music from Jalali Bau and tabla drummers.

BOXPARK SHOREDITCH at 2 Bethnal Green Rd, London E1 6HT, will be hosting the ‘Tabla Vibe’ which is just a stone’s throw from Indigo Shoreditch taking place at the weekend. The event will be open from 3-7pm on Friday 17th October and Saturday 18th October from 12 noon -7pm.

If that’s not enough for you curry lovers than you’ll want to make note of the amazing FREE give aways!

Indigo are offering up a fantastic prize during the National Curry Week. Those that enter could win an excellent FREE meal for four. More prizes are available through the week, such as a year’s membership of Richmix (www.richmix.org.uk).

Those are some great give aways but, the one that everyone has been keeping an eye on is the romantic trip for two to India! This is an excitign opportunity to soak up the culture of an incredible country, with all expenses paid! Although the National Curry Week ends on the 19th October there’s no need to rush to enter the romantic trip to India prize. This competition will run until the end of January 2015 at Indigo’s restaurants.
