Niles Rodgers Presents a Lovebox and Red Bull Music Academy Special – Friday 14th June 2013
Lovebox and Red Bull Music Academy join forces this summer to present a line-up of the electronic dance music of today, back to the sounds of 1970’s New York City Disco, on Friday 14th June.
Featuring Jazzie B, Tom Middleton and PBR Street Gang on the decks, Lovebox and Red Bull Music Academy teamed up last Thursday to present the bash at the Red Bull Studios.
The June event is headlined by Chic featuring Nile Rodgers who are known for pioneering the R&B and disco scene in the 70’s.
‘Le Freak’, ‘Dance Dance Dance’ and ‘I Want Your Love’ are some of the classics they are responsible for.
Rodgers has also produced albums for Madonna, David Bowie, Sister Sledge and Diana Ross.
