Ones To Watch: Roses Gabor

Announced as one of the most exciting new voices in British music, Roses Gabor has already made quite the name for herself in the music industry. After working in an investment bank in London, Roses received an offer from Damon Albarn asking her to appear on Gorillaz 2005 hit song ‘Dare’. Since then, it’s been nothing but hits for Roses – appearing on SBTRKT’s ‘Pharaohs’, recording her single ‘Rush’ with MNEK in his East London studio and releasing her 2012 debut single ‘Stars’ on Toddla T’s Girls Music label.

Having already rubbed shoulders with the likes of Bobby Womack, Dennis Hopper and Snoop Dogg on Gorillaz 2010 tour, Roses has been hailed as ‘the future of R’n’B’ by Zane Lowe. With a sound described as a melting pot of genres, Roses Gabor is undoubtedly the next big thing.
