Lewis Watson – Into The Wild
Hailing from Oxford, Lewis Watson is set to take on the world. This cracking little tune is a perfect example of his lovely songwriting abilities. The chirpy melody flows gracefully from start to finish and it is a song that will keep on giving every time you listen.
Stagecoach – Work! Work! Work!
UK Indie-Pop band Stagecoach have been refining their sound for a good few years, and with the imminent release of their debut album ‘Si Hi To The Band’, the five-piece are giving us an early insight to what we can expect with this brand new, fun-loving single, ‘Work! Work! Work!’ Give it a listen and it’ll be stuck in your head for days.
Cloud Boat – Dréan
There’s a beautiful element of suspension throughout the warm tones of Dréan that gently flutter around the track’s main body of sound, and its dark feeling induces a sensation like nothing you’ve experienced before. The pair has managed to create a sound that is both unique and intimate. It’s literally like sailing through the clouds.
Athletes In Paris – Borrowed Time
Who’d have thought that the Sunderland accent would fit in effectively amongst the melodies of a Pop track? It’s like Biffy’s overly Scottish vocals, only this is much happier and damn infectious. I’m not sure you’ll fully understand why you like it so much, but you’ll find yourself singing, and clapping, along in no time.
MEG MAC- Known Better
Sydney’s MEG MAC provides us with a stunning little Pop song in the form of ‘Known Better’. The bright piano and punching drums are a treat, and her voice sounds incredible. She has a bright future for sure!
