Red Rooster Festival 2013 Line-up Announcement

The organisers at Red Rooster festival have added Blues legend Beverly ‘Guitar’ Watkins and up-and-coming Jamie N Commons to the line-up.

The festival, which is devoted to American Soul, Rhythm & Blues and Roots music, will be Beverly ‘Guitar’ Watkins’ first ever performance in the UK. She has been performing for five decades and shared the stage with the likes of James Brown, B.B. King and Ray Charles.

Jamie N Commons will also be a treat for festival-goers, as a Bristol boy raised in Chicago, making a name for himself within American music.

Other additions to the line-up, which already included The Jim Jones Revue, Heartless Bastards, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, Pete Molinari and Urban Voodoo Machine, are Hudson-Taylor, The Riptide Movement, St Paul and The Broken Bones and Jesse Dee.
