Release The Bats Festival 2013

Melbourne is busy preparing itself for the first ATP Halloween party for an all-day extravaganza of spooky fun.

This isn’t your typical Halloween party as the festival promises an incredible line-up of live acts, with Television playing Marquee Moon and The Breeders and The Jesus Lizard performing their only Victorian shows. Joining them are The Scientists, Fuck Buttons, Pop Crimes, Lightning Bolt, Sleep, Forest Swords, Total Control, Hoss, The UV Race, White Walls and many more to be announced. It’s going to be a great day for alternative Australian music, let alone the Halloween celebrations.

With two stages, a cinema, art exhibitions, great food and fancy dress we know you’ll not want to miss out. Prizes are up for grabs for the best dressed as something connected to one of the bands – with buttons, lizards and forest swords you’re spoilt for choice!

The event starts at midday and runs through to the early morning at the Westgate Entertainment Centre and Grand Star Receptions. Tickets cost $150 plus booking fee.
