Review: Backyard Cinema – London Fields Brewery
It’s been a long weekend. You’ve run around seeing friends, dancing in clubs and generally wearing yourself down. It’s Sunday and you’re feeling drained so what do you want to do?
Sit back, relax and watch a film. You could watch it in your house or, you could get up and head down to Backyard Cinema where you can slouch back on cosy beanbags with fresh popcorn, draught beer, homemade oven baked pizzas and delicious Thai food at London Fields Brewery.
Is London Fields Brewery not on your doorstep? Don’t worry, Backyard Cinema, the newest pop up cinema in London are located across the capital. You can catch a film in various locations including Camden and Shoreditch.
Our ticket included a pint of beer from the bar, or any beverage of your choice, however seeing as we were at the Brewery, we opted for a pint. We were led into the cinema room which was literally covered with beanbags or lounge chairs, even double lounge chairs; perfect to get comfortable with your loved ones.
We were then treated to the real spectacle of the afternoon, ‘Anchorman’, on a massively big screen.
Backyard Cinema has really hit the nail on the head – screening absolute classics; you pay to see a film you are guaranteed to love in a quirky setting.
With the promise of Backyard Cinema’s opening in even more locations all over London, this pop-up venue can act as great place to unwind with friends, or for a unique date experience.
Just bring a toothpick, as popcorn stuck in your teeth really isn’t a great look.
