Review: Josh Pyke At Twilight At Taronga
Sydney singer-songwriter, Josh Pyke, brought his sweet indie-pop for a sold out Twilight performance on the Taronga Zoo concert last Friday night.
Warming up the crowd ahead of the main set was Central Coast duo Winterbourne, whose easy-listening folk rock kept spirits high. Once Josh Pyke took the stage, the amphitheatre was filled with the sound of his audience singing along to the catchy hooks and beautiful harmonies he has become renowned for as he performed songs from his most recent album ‘But For All These Shrinking Hearts’.
Twilight at Taronga will continue every weekend until Saturday 12th March, bringing even more names to the harbour-side amphitheatre including John Butler Trio, Birds Of Tokyo, James Morrison and Violent Femmes. Enjoy amazing views of the Sydney Harbour during sunset while you chill out on a rug with a picnic and a show.
