Robin Thicke’s New Single ‘Blurred Lines’ Takes Over
Robin Thicke’s latest release ‘Blurred Lines’ is currently everywhere. It’s Number One in a mass of countries and is being played in clubs and bars wherever you go. And, although Thicke has been making successful records for years, this is his first Number One single.
The track that is currently Number One in Australia and the UK among countless other countries features both T.I. and Pharrell. The video, which has been at the center of feminist rants and controversy for its use of topless models has had over 50 million views so far.
The Grammy Award-Winner, who has sold over 3.5 million records worldwide, taught himself to play piano at age 12 and by age 14 he could play anything he heard on the radio. In the years since, Thicke has amassed dozens of gold and platinum records for his collaborations with many recording artists.
Off the back of this single alone, Thicke has announced plans for his first trip to Australia where he will make a short promotional visit from June 16th – 19th 2013.
