Rooftop Cinema In Melbourne

It’s mild, and it’s time to enjoy yourself. Head on up to the Rooftop Cinema and indulge your film buff self in some great titles this season. Throughout December and January you can see classics such as The Great Gatsby and Cassablanca, as well as cult classics Pulp Fiction and The Goonies.

Getting in the spirit of things, on Christmas Eve you can go along and watch Will Ferrell in Elf. And we have to mention that the most horrendously and epically terrible film of 2013, Sharknado will be screening this December, so if you like a good laugh, then make sure you don’t miss it. It rivals Jaws 3 in crappy effects.

The films start at 9.30pm each evening the cinema is openly perched on a rooftop, and seating starts from 9pm, so it’s perfectly fine to go and have a drink at the bar before hand. The Rooftop Bar is open daily from midday until 1am, making it the perfect spot to take in the rooftop views of Melbourne even if you’re not watching a film.

The cinema box office is open 5.00–9.30pm Tue–Thu and 7.00–9.30pm Sat–Sun with adult tickets costing around $22 and concessions at $18. So if you’re looking for something truly Melbournian to experience then climb on up to Melbourne’s roof and get cultured, amused and entertained this summer. Rooftop Cinema In Melbourne.
