Roundhouse Poetry Slam

Roundhouse Poetry Slam gives you the opportunity to check out GB’s hottest up-and-coming lyrical athletes as they flex their poetic muscles in a war of words, vying for the title of 2012 Roundhouse Poetry Slam Champion and the Colin & Helen David Prize.

The competition will start with 32 poets going head to head in front of the critical eyes of a live audience and a judging panel of five of the best writers on the UK poetry scene. The crème de la crème from the two heats will battle it out in an epic final on August 29.

The panel of judges, comprising of top UK poets Polarbear, David J, Kat Francois, Inua Ellams and Daniel Cockrill, will also perform live sets.
