Salt n Pepa Announce Australian Tour Dates

Salt n Pepa have sold over 15 million albums worldwide and are one of Australia’s favourite hip-hop acts. It is no surprise that their return is eagerly anticipated following their sell out tour in 2011. After 25 years, Salt n Pepa’s stage performance is set to be as dazzling and energetic as ever.

The American Hip hop trio from Queens and Brooklyn, New York formed in 1985 as one of the first all-female rap crews. Taking their name from lyrics of their first single ‘The Showstopper’, Salt n Pepa have won numerous awards such as the Grammy Award for the ‘Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group’, in addition to receiving the I Am Hip Hop award in 2011 at the Beta Hip Hop Awards after their reformation.
