This October take a trip down the Bondi Beach to Tamarama Beach coastal walk to see it transformed into a temporary sculpture park as Sculpture By The Sea returns for its 19th year running.
From the 22nd October to the 8th November 2015, head down to Australia’s largest annual outdoor sculpture exhibition to see over 100 sculptures from artists worldwide against a 2km backdrop of idyllic coastline. Since its humble beginnings in 1997, the free outdoor exhibition has gone from strength to strength, expanding to accommodate millions of visitors and offering pop-up eating spots, educational talks, and hands-on tactile tours. From the beautiful to the bizzarre, the sculptures which range from a ‘wave’ of Barbie dolls to human-sized ‘spray and wipe’ cleaning bottles, offer a fun and unique way to explore Sydney’s natural beauty.
