Single Review: MGMT – Your Life Is A Lie

Never ones to be conventional, MGMT’s latest track ‘Your Life Is A Lie’ is a two minute noisy track that is interesting to listen to in terms of the sound being produced but it never progresses any further than the disjointed, jumble of musical components.

The mass of distortion featured makes the track feel poor in quality rather than quirky.

Lyrically the track is a mixture of repetitive one-liners and uninteresting thoughts which means that MGMT, sadly, fail to deliver anything other than fuzzy noise on this one.
