Single Review: Purity Ring – Lofticries

Purity Ring’s debut album, ‘Shrines’ is a glimmering record filled with glossy tones and pulsing rhythms that is likely to end up in a large chunk of the Top Albums of 2012 lists.

Their latest single, ‘Lofticries’ is a striking example of their sound, and is surely destined to put the duo on the map. The track is wonderfully structured with more than enough twists and turns to keep you listening over and over.

Throw in a haunting video directed by the brilliant AG Rojas (Jack White, Spiritualized) that touches upon some slightly macabre aspects of life and death, and you’re on bound to get people’s attention.
