Single Review: Thief – Broken Boy
Songwriter PJ Wolf returns with a new Electro-Pop sound under the guise Thief.
‘Broken Boy’ is a super hazy debut single that transforms heartbreak and misery into falsetto and handclaps. This is Electro-Pop at its best, teeming with a sharp synth beat reminiscent of 80s Pop.
The song is pieced together intricately with the structure of early Techno that gives the song a modern finish, that will have you hitting the replay button in no time.
‘Broken Boy’ is the first single from Thief’s debut EP, ‘Closer’ which is released November 1st 2013.
