Skate King’s Cross – Roller Skating In London
London’s King’s Cross will play host to a pop-up roller skating rink, otherwise known as Skate King’s Cross, until September 6th 2013.
For those who find a home on the rink, or even those who want to try something new, this is the perfect way to get your skate on and enjoy the 100-person capacity rink and a few drinks from the on-site bar. Not only that, but there’s plenty of room for a further 200 people to watch from the sidelines – let’s just hope your not shy with all those eyes on you.
Located in the West Handyside Canopy, a covered space next to the gorgeous Granary Building, Skate King’s Cross is open six days a week and is suitable for all ages. However, when night time comes, Roller Disco events will take place with some exciting DJ’s lined up to play.
The creatively and beautifully designed rink nods warmly towards skating history as it sits within the grounds of the legendary Canvas nightclub, where a weekly roller disco would take place.
Tickets are to be bought in advance and can be purchased directly from Skate King’s Cross on their website listed below.
