SummerSalt will be bringing art, music, circus performances and theatre to Melbourne in 2015.

SummerSalt is an art festival that everybody is keen to go. They sputter out music, art, dance, circus and theatre events in Southbank. Their aspiration is to twine Melbourne summer with artistic as well as terrific events. This summer, SummerSalt is going to blow your mind with its unique art events. Just check out some of what they have in store below.

Scotch+Soda

Scotch+Soda provides an experience of outstanding circus performances combined with the sweet taste of scotch and soda. Your eyes and ears will not only be treated to brilliant acrobatics and music performances, your tastebuds will also be tantalized with the cheeky tipple, making Scotch + Soda a performance that is worthy of a visit when SummerSalt comes to town. The performance starts from 8pm on 11th, 12th and 13th February, 7.30pm or 9.45pm on 14th February and 4pm on 15th February in Dodds Street. Tickets are $30 each.

Cybec Electric

Cybec Electric has finally made its way back to Southbank with these two latest and flawless adult theatre performances called ‘The Unknown Man On Somerton Beach’ by Tobias Manderson-Galvin and ‘Moths’ by Michele Lee. ‘The Unknown Man On Somerton Beach’ talks about mysteriously ghastly murder. Only for adults, prepare for a murder horror story in this summer, and definitely go check it out on 14th February at 6pm in VCA Art Courtyard. ‘Moths’ is more like an amorous joke about Asian Australian’s sex lives, and a must-see for you if you’re more promiscuous to sex jokes. It starts on 21st February at 6pm, also in VCA Art Courtyard. These shows cost $5 each for those 29 years old or under and $10 each for over 29 year olds.

Pixel Mountain

Pixel Mountain is a collaboration where South Korean aerial dancers and Australian aerial dancers can meet up together and produce a masterpiece. Using an interactive projector, which moves along with the dancers, the show will stand out from ubiquity. With the icing of innovative digital art technology, this unusual aerial dance performance will open your horizon. The show starts from 9pm on 18th and 19th February, and from 9pm and 10.30pm on 20th and 21st February. Taking place in Dodds Street, tickets are $30 each.
