One of Australia’s leading comedy events is back for another year, and in 2012 The Sydney Comedy Festival promises to be as good as it has ever been.

Opening with the popular Cracker Night Showcase Gala, the festival that was lauched in 2005 is a real feast of comedy and entertainment, showcasing the brightest comica from across Australia and some of the best international gems in comedy. This year, the likes of Ross Noble, Mark Watson and Simon Amstell will be appearing, and helping spread the festival’s comic disturbance across multiple Sydney entertainment venues and precincts, including the landmark Sydney Opera House and the iconic Enmore Theatre.The Festival’s program boasts a diverse mix of standup, music, theatre, family friendly comedy and a whole lot more.
