Sydney Jobs: Hospital Orderly (Wardsperson)
We are seeking a number of experienced staff to work as orderlies in various general (surgical, medical, aged care) and specialty (mental health, OT, ED, ICU, etc) areas in public hospitals in Sydney’s east.
Duties include patient transportation and chaperoning, assisting nursing staff with the provision of personal care, stock control, bed making, basic cleaning, etc.
We can offer an immediate start with shifts booked 2-3 weeks in advance, as well as on an ad hoc basis.
We offer:
* Regular, on-going work for reliable performers
* Many shifts available, including week-ends
* Advanced roster, in addition to day-to-day bookings
Essential requirements:
* Must have current work rights in Australia
* Preference given to those with full-time equivalent availability
* 100% compliance with the NSW Health Department’s immunisation policy
* Must posses more than 3 months relevant experience from here or overseas (as an orderly, AIN or PCA)
* Recent, professional local references
* Current criminal record and working with children checks
