Tennis Australian Open Semi-Final/Finals – 27th – 29th Jan
Even if you’re not a massive tennis fan, you’ll know that the Australian Open is one of the biggest sporting events of the year. If you’re in Melbourne and you’ve only just clocked on to the fact the Australian Open is on, and you were thinking, damn!, I wish i’d got tickets, then you’ll be pleased to know you’re not too late. However, there is a catch. Unfortunately if you’re broke you still won’t be going as tickets for the finals start from around $300. Anyway we think it’s worth the spend so get yourself down to Melbourne Park and bag yourself some tickets!
With the Men’s semi-finals showing on Friday, you will get the chance to see Andy Murray play World number one Novak Djokovic, and on Saturday it’s the women’s final between heavyweights Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka. Then for the final curtain call, Sunday is the men’s final with the winner of the Murray vs Djokovic match facing the deadly Rafael Nadal! Even if you can’t get a ticket online or on the gates, there’s bound to be tickets to be bought somewhere near Melbourne Park, so get yourselves down there for an amazing weekend of final’s tennis.
(BBM does not agree with being ripped of by dodgy scouse touts so please only purchase tickets from the box office or an official ticket outlet)
