Texas Set To Release New Single ‘Detroit City’

After their new album ‘The Conversation’ entered the UK charts at number four in May, Texas are releasing their latest single ‘Detroit City’ from the album on 12th August 2013. This year Texas celebrate their 25th anniversary by returning to the airwaves and bringing back some spectacular songwriting and musical depth.

The band have confirmed two huge festivals this year after a couple of acclaimed warm-up shows at Glasgow’s King Tuts and London’s 100 Club. They will make an appearance at T in the Park and Latitude where they headline the BBC Radio 6 Music Stage on Friday 19th July. After warming up at these huge festivals, Texas will take their first UK tour in eight years in November. Selling over 30 million albums worldwide and releasing their eighth album this year, the band will be delighting their loyal fans with their return to the stage in Summer 2013.
