The Growl Album Tour 2013
The Growl are pleased to announce the special guests they have invited to join them on their national tour.
To kick off the tour in their hometown Perth on the 12th April, The Growl play alongside local quartet Shy Panther who play “hazy, but surprisingly sturdy, pop-influenced indie rock with mild psychadelic flourishes” Xpress Magazine, newcomers Mild Child and atmospheric pop artist Rabbit Island.
In Sydney on 19th April, The Growl will be joined by Newcastle duo The Gooch Palms who play a skuzzy mesh of pop, rock n’ roll and punk, with a guitar, two drums and a Theremin. The Brisbane show on 20th April sees Byron Bay born Elegant Shiva with their version of blues-rock, after recently supporting Omar Rodriguez Lopez (Mars Volta) and Dune Rats.
Stopping over in Melbourne on the 24th April, punters will catch locals The Demon Parade with their trademark psychedelic pop hooks and Them Bruins’s Brunswick tin-shed influenced punk-rock at the Workers Club.
Then heading west to Adelaide for their final show on the 26th April, The Growl are joined by indie rock group The Sweet Decline teaming up with Less Than Three who play a mix of punk, pop and rock.
What Would Christ Do?? Will be available independently through MGM Distribution digitally and in store April 5th 2013.
